on the 20th of March 2024, I visited the Victoria and Albert Museum in Kensington, London to practice shooting bracelets, necklaces and other traditional forms of accessories and jewellery dating from 15th-century medieval Europe.
The jewels were housed indoors in a dark room, there was only artificial light around; most of the jewellery was lit up with two lights, creating an extra sparkle to the accessories.
I wanted to create separation from the backgrounds using large aperture photography and a shallow depth of field, trying to avoid reflections and paying attention to composition.
I colour-graded and completed post-production on Adobe Lightroom, observing colour temperature.
